FC Barcelona arrive in Manchester

The players are on English soil for Tuesday night’s Champions League encounter with Manchester City.

Their flight felt El Prat Airport at 10.00am CET, and the travelling party is being led by vice-president Jordi Cardoner and his fellow board members Jordi Moix, Joan Bladé, Silvio Elías, Josep Ramón Vidal-Abarca and Oriol Tomàs.
The anecdote was that Barça B player Marlon, who is joining the squad for the trip, left his passport at home and will instead have to catch a later flight! The first team shared the flight with the U19 team, who will also be playing City tomorrow. 
After arriving in Manchester, the 20 playrs and the coaching staff were taken directly to their hotel. The team will be training at the City of Manchester Stadium later today, while Luis Enrique and Ivan Rakitic will also be giving press conferences City’s The Academy training ground.
